Employment Opportunities Position: Tree Climber
Description/Summary: - Solid Tree Care provides residential tree service in the Halifax area, including pruning and tree removal. We are looking for a tree climber with a strong work ethic, pride in their work product, who places a high value on team work, quality work, and safety.
Qualifications and Assets: - Certified Arborist or working towards achieving certification - Experience tree climbing for tree pruning and tree removal - Experience working with and maintaining chainsaws - Experience operating a chipper - Knowledge of safe work practices - Driver’s license - Vehicle to get to and from work - Ability to lift 60lbs consistently - Good knowledge of the Arboriculture industry
Education: - Graduate of Arboriculture program (or working toward completion)
Pay: - Commensurate with experience
