Job Description

Maple Hill Tree Services is searching for a climbing arborist to transition into the role of scheduling supervisor.  We are a team of enthusiastic and motivated industry professionals that pride ourselves on high caliber workmanship, excellent customer service and uncompromising safety. We specialize in quality, safe residential, commercial and municipal tree care and are committed to responsible arboriculture practices and urban forest management

 

Applicants must be highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently. This position requires efficiency within a fast-paced environment and the application of sound judgement based on extensive previous experience.

Qualifications and skills should include computer aptitude and software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel), are required. Good verbal and written communication skills and client management experience are essential. Formal arboriculture training, applied knowledge and understanding of standard industry practices and ISA Certification would be an asset.  Good people skills; self-motivated; computer-savvy and extremely organized.

 

Reporting to the Operations Manager this role will be responsible for planning and scheduling daily crew and equipment requirements.  Preferable that candidate have extensive experience in the tree care industry and excellent client service and communication skills.  Part of this roles may also involve in field work assisting with training and development of new staff.  This would be the ideal position for someone who is ready to move out of a day-to-day field role and into a client service / management role.
