Job Description
We are a quality tree service company located in London Ontario. We currently service London and the surrounding communities. We are searching for a skilled tree climber.
The duties of this position will include efficiently leading a crew, directing members and equipment as well as planning and executing assigned work and tasks. You will need to lead the team in an way that ensures a hazard free work place. You will be responsible in supervising and assisting in proper machine maintenance of all equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chipper and stump grinder. You should be comfortable in all aspects of tree pruning, thinning, removing and dead wooding. Along with removal of hazardous trees and operating of equipment such as installing cables, bracing and heavy equipment. You should be able to work with a variety of crew members and to be successful you should be prepared to work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions.
Qualifications:
- ISA Certified Arborist an asset
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Arborist
- Strong tree, knot and shrub identification skills
- Prior experience with trimming, chipper, and chainsaw operation is preferred
- A clean valid Driver’s License is required
- Must be able to carry 50lbs at a minimum and work outside in all weather conditions
- Strong leadership, organized
