Climbing Arborist

Twenty Valley Tree Service is a smaller company based out of St. Catharines, that services the Niagara region. We are hoping to make some expansions this season, and are looking to welcome in another climber to the team.

Job Description:

We are in search of a part-time climber that has the ability to safely prune and/or remove any size of tree. Technical rigging techniques will be required at times, as well as the ability to fell a tree. This person will also be responsible for running a chipper at times and helping to ensure that job sites are left clean. The right candidate will work efficiently and also have a strong focus on safety, and will enforce it within the crew.

Qualifications:

• Ability to climb any size of tree
• Ability to perform technical rigging techniques
• Ability to fell a tree
• Valid G license
• positive attitude with strong communication skills
• Good time management skills/ transportation to and from work

Assets:

• Aerial lift experience
• A degree/diploma in aboriculture/forestry/urban forestry/horticulture
• DZ license
• Working at heights cert.
• First aid cert.
