Ground crew are expected to assist arborists by operating ropes and equipment on the ground while the climber is in the tree. They are also expected to assist with job-site clean-up, including management and chipping of brush and wood as it is lowered to the ground. They should be skilled at; tree removals, pruning, cabling/bracing and advanced rigging techniques. Experience with crane removals is considered an asset but can be learned on-site.
