We are a quality tree service company located in London Ontario. We currently service London and the surrounding communities. We are searching for a skilled tree climber. The duties of this position will include efficiently leading a crew, directing members and equipment as well as planning and executing assigned work and tasks. You will need to lead the team in an way that ensures a hazard free work place. You will be responsible in supervising and assisting in proper machine maintenance of all equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chipper and stump grinder. You should be comfortable in all aspects of tree pruning, thinning, removing and dead wooding. The duties of this position will include reporting to the foreman, assisting arborists, collecting and piling branches and brush to be processed with the chipper. You will need to assist the team in an way that ensures a hazard free work place. You should be able to work with a variety of crew members and to be successful you should be prepared to work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions. We will train new staff in the safe use of ropes, rigging, chainsaws, hand tools as well as the daily maintenance and operation of chipper and stump grinders.
